Help organise the People's Commission !

We need volunteers to help with the following tasks:

*Translation. We need help translating texts between English and French. We also need help translating short promotional texts into Arabic, Urdu, Farsi, Punjabi and other languages.

*Interpretation. We need people who can do whisper translation into English, French, Arabic, and Spanish for commission events. Other languages would also be useful.

*Billetting. Witnesses and participants will be coming into town for the Public Hearings (21-23 April). We need comfortable and secure lodgings for them. We are also looking for one person who can reliably coordinate billetting.

*Community media. We are looking for people who can help us promote the People's Commission in community media (papers, radio and websites) in various languages and regions of Montreal. This will mean gathering contacts, contacting media outlets and arranging to have our promotional material published.

*Postering. We will need help ensuring that posters are visible in all neighbourhoods and community centres of Montreal. Whether you can just put up a few or whether you want to participate in one of our postering days, please let us know. We are also looking for one person who can reliably coordinate postering.
